Introducing the Lady Behind IgnitePost’s image!

Diane is IgnitePost’s creative director, meaning she handles general brand creativity. She makes sure our team stays on-brand or brand-consistent with graphic design, social media communication, and client interaction. In the beginning, she wore additional hats, giving feedback on early product design and email sequences. Now, she’s working to standardize the order flow and fulfillment process so it’s more cohesive across the company and its divisions. As a result, when new members join the team, they can keep the workflow going uninterrupted and continue making consistent products.

Get ready to meet… *drum roll please* ... Diane!

Diane is IgnitePost’s creative director, meaning she handles general brand creativity. She makes sure our team stays on-brand or brand-consistent with graphic design, social media communication, and client interaction. In the beginning, she wore additional hats, giving feedback on early product design and email sequences. Diane is so hard at work on this new project that it’s carried over into her personal life! After all, if you have a standard organization process at work, why not have one at home? She’s done a lot of spring cleaning that has turned into summer cleaning. On the bright side, Diane no longer digs around in her bag for silly things that she needs all the time, like her keys.

For Diane, working at IgnitePost is a chance to explore a new field. Originally from upstate New York, she landed in Boston for graduate school 12 years ago and got her masters in anesthesia. Really cool! At our company, Diane is getting to practice good communication habits and familiarize herself with general business practices, which are all useful things to know! Most importantly, she gets along great with our team because she is just as active, passionate, and curious as the rest of us!

Like many, Diane believes that businesses are slowly becoming more detached from forming personal connections with their customers, thanks to ads, spam, and more. She also believes that you can operate your business humanely and take care of the world, while still making a profit. Diane’s biggest worry is for our planet, specifically the impact of climate change on people, animals, and the land. Seeing pictures of polar bears struggling to stay on a tiny piece of ice - it’s heart-wrenching. She’s very concerned and feels helpless about it. Hopefully, if countries all strive to make changes and encourage businesses to follow sustainable practices (or innovate!), we can start reversing the damage before it becomes permanent.

Diane is also a huge fitness enthusiast (junkie?). Like Arian, Diane also skis in the winter. If that doesn’t give you a sense of how active she is, she once participated in the world’s largest paintball game - it lasted 3 whole days!!! The game was a reenactment of the invasion of Normandy. A tip for everyone, when it comes to these activities, make sure not to cross her. Diane also loves running. Indoor, outdoor, however she can get her blood pumping and her muscles working. She’s still training for a marathon, despite delays and the move to virtual events. Regardless of the changes, Diane is determined to participate in the Halloween Half-Marathon. She’s planning to wear her costume regardless of who can actually see! I’m rooting for her victory, and i’m sure she’ll have a new certificate or medal to add to her collection soon.

Aside from training - which was a good way to stay active during quarantine - Diane has recently gone on a few hiking trips to immerse herself in the peace of nature. And on one of these trips, Diane got engaged!!! Great news to hear given the chaos of 2020. There will be a long engagement to make sure that everyone can safely come to celebrate with the happy couple!
