TL;DR

IgnitePOST’s Shopify App allows you to send robotically-handwritten, real pen & ink cards based on actions users take on your Shopify shop!  Our cards are written with real ballpoint pens and are indistinguishable from actual human handwriting.  IgnitePOST regularly outperforms email by a factor of 30X and outperforms Direct Mail by a factor of 10X!

By installing our Shopify App, the two main automated flows you can set up are: 1.) Post Purchase flows – which will trigger handwritten cards after someone has made a purchase from your shop.  2.)  Abandoned Cart flows – which will trigger when Shopify detects a customer has begun the checkout process but stopped before completing the purchase.

In both flows above, IgnitePOST allows you to set specific rules to control exactly when and to whom cards will be sent.  

Specifically, the controls available to Shops are as follows:

When you install our Shopify app, you get the ability to send real, ballpoint pen & ink letters using our robotics. Our technology introduces penmanship variations, which make our notes indistinguishable from real human handwriting. With the IgnitePOST Shopify App, we give YOU the power to customize handwritten cards to meet your specific needs. No matter what triggers you set up, you have full control to configure the following elements:

1. Personalize the card message!  That’s right… using the App, you can pull in the name of your customer in real-time, and use it in your handwritten note! Personalization has been shown to drastically improve your results!

2. Change the handwriting style to fit your needs!  We offer a variety of handwriting styles in a range of penmanship variations.  Remember, we always introduce penmanship variations (see above) to ensure your notes look as authentic as possible. Want to USE YOUR OWN HANDWRITING? No problem! Reach out to us and we can mimic your own handwriting style!

3. Customize the card image! We give you full control to customize the image on the front of the card. Want to include a discount code? Your company logo? A promotional offer? A QR code that links to a specific webpage? No problem! Just upload the image and you’re done! We even have a variety of default cards that you can choose from if you don’t want to create your own!

4. Customize the return address! You have full control over the return address for each handwritten card. Both the envelope AND the card are handwritten using the same writing style. Handwritten envelopes have an open rate of 99%, so you can be sure that your recipient will open your letter!

5. Specify who should receive your letter. With IgnitePOST, it’s super simple to specify the address where your card should be sent. Simply choose the option you want to use from the list, and you’re done!

FLOWS YOU CAN TRIGGER FROM THE IGNITEPOST SHOPIFY APP

There are 2 types of triggered flows that Shopify store owners can now set up with just a few clicks:

Post-purchase flows: These flows will be triggered when a customer completes a purchase on your shop. Read more details below to discover how you can set up rules and settings to specify exactly when the handwritten cards are sent and to whom they will be sent.

Abandoned cart flows: These flows will be triggered when Shopify identifies a user as an abandoned checkout. More details regarding the various configuration settings available are below!
